There are many ways to retain soil but the three main methods are:
- Concrete sleeper retaining wall with steel beams
- Block retaining walls of varying sizes and patterns
- Moss Rock retaining walls
We are licenced to build vertical walls up to 3m high, however most councils will require approval for vertical walls made from sleepers and Blocks to be approved before installation. This will need a Engineers certificate if over one metre.
In most cases Moss rocks can be installed and planted out on a 45 degree angle without council permision.
